Jeremy's music celebrates sensory experience and poetic structure through the mediums of counterpoint and timbre. His unique style can be heard in award winning compositions including his Synesthesia String Quartet (2024), Flavors in Tone Color recorded with the Brightwork Ensemble (2023), Suite for String Orchestra premiered by Con Brio String Orchestra (2023), Symphony no. 1 selected by the Sophia Symphony Orchestra (2021), and his String Quartet no. 1 (2019). His featured commissions on the Open Wellness App and sound healing residency with Feels Like Floating LA blend extended techniques and spectral composition in order to explore the relationship between music and perception. His underscore for 5 plays, 3 video games, 5 short films, and collaborations with versatile singer songwriters explore vivid textures on his cello to create a distinctive production style. Hailing from the rich folk music tradition of the Finger Lakes region in Upstate NY, Jeremy studied Composition and Advertising at Pepperdine University, and is continuing his studies with a masters degree in Composition at CSU - Northridge.
